The magazine says Charleston will be profiled in the feature story "8 terrific towns for history lovers" in its next issue.

It hits store shelves Feb. 21.

If you've been wanting to see downtown Charleston like a tourist this weekend you can do it for free.

On Sunday, Palmetto Carriage Works is giving locals free tours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 4th annual event is only for people who live in the Tri-county.

Toys for Tots

Dick Luke Co. on 327 A Folly Road will be a toy drop off location for Toys for Tots.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program collects unwrapped new toys to be given needing families on Christmas.  

Toys for children up to 15-years-old can be dropped off at Dick Luke Co, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - The Coastal Carolina Fair returns to the Exchange Park in North Charleston today.

The fair will be open every day through November 5 at varying time schedules.  On weekdays, the fair will open at 3 p.m. and close at 9 p.m., except for on Fridays, when it stays open till 11 p.m. 

On Saturdays the fair is open from noon to 11 p.m. and on Sunday it will be open from noon to 9 p.m. 

Senior citizens can enjoy the fair at a slower pace on Wednesday, November 2, from 11 a.m.
