Expect mostly sunny skies with just a few more afternoon clouds around for our Thursday. It will also be a bit more on the humid side. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. A few backyards may even make it over the 90° mark. Friday and into the weekend, not much change, but there is a little better chance for afternoon showers and storms.

The sunshine continues today across the Lowcountry as high pressure remains in control of our sky. There were just a few thin clouds around the beaches at sunrise and as the afternoon approaches temps will head up from the 50s and 60s. Highs later today will make it into the upper 70s with a light southeast breeze.

Another good looking day is ahead for the Lowcountry on Friday. Plenty of sun has started us off and temperatures are starting the climb that will take them into the mid 80s later this afternoon. South winds will stay light, around 7-12mph and keep the beaches a bit cooler than those of us inland. This evening a few more clouds come in but the forecast stays dry.
