A cooler, windy day | Weather
LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - Some cooler weather hits the Lowcountry on Hump Day, says Live 5 Meteorologist Chad Watson:
Plenty of sunshine returns for our middle of the week but it will have a hard time warming us up this afternoon as cooler air slowly filters into the Lowcountry from the north. By lunchtime, temps should be in the mid 60s on the way to a daytime high near 70°. Winds will stay brisk at times from the north at 10-15mph. This will make for a cool day along the beaches with temps only around 65-67°. Clear and calm weather tonight will allow temps to dive deep into the lower 40s and upper 30s. We will have to watch for the chance of some patchy frost far inland away from the coastal waters. We will let you know if frost or freeze advisories are issued later this evening.
